My first college degree was earned in advertising and graphic design. It has served me well in every field. All materials below are non-template originals displayed here for portfolio purposes only. The primary design programs I use are Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

UNCG - MLIS Coursework Design
Created in 2019 for an MLIS class project in collection development, these posters were all designed by me as part of my responsibility in the group assignment.


Duke University Libraries
A logo I created in December of 2019 for Duke University Libraries. It will be used for You Asked / We Answered, a campaign to inform students of improvements made throughout Duke Libraries based on their feedback.

The Thomasville Public Library
During my time as librarian of the teen department, I managed the social media accounts in addition to original design, programming, and promotional strategies.

Activate Your Summer was an original summer reading program I created and implemented in 2013. It encouraged teens to activate theirs minds, their health, and to become active in helping their community. Logo, brochure, flyers, and other promotional ideas and materials were also created by me.

A flyer designed for an adult audience. This was given out to teachers at several schools throughout Davidson County inviting them to use library resources and services.

Freelance Graphic Design

The Veteran's Keepsake Calendar and Photo Essay, is an 80 page project I designed for Pulitzer Prize-winning and Civil Rights photographer, Matthew Lewis. Additionally, I redesigned and updated Matthew's professional brochure.

The calendar was featured in several local newspapers and television stations.
